Grounds and Sounds and folk recording artist Caroline Doctorow join together to present an evening of acoustic music to benefit the series. Ms. Doctorow and her high energy acoustic band The Ballad Makers, will present popular folk standards, Americana favorites, blisteringly fast fiddle tunes as well as Doctorow’s own songs.
"I was part of the line up during the very first season of this series, and want to lend my support to all the wonderful folks who keep it going and thriving year after year, providing a great listening room and a great spirit of community - for both audience and performer..." Caroline Doctorow
Caroline's stirring voice recalls the folk artists of the '60s and her vocals have been favorably compared to such luminaries as Nanci Griffith and Judy Collins. Her most recent album Dreaming in Vinyl reached #2 on the folk radio charts and No Depression Magazine says: “Caroline Doctorow has been responsible for some of the sweetest songs of the modern folk idiom.”
