“Makes me remember why I so enjoy listening to music”
Ray Lambiase is a veteran singer-songwriter who has been writing and performing songs since he was a teenager growing up on Long Island. Over the years, he has performed in concert with Marshall Crenshaw, Pure Prairie League, Suzanne Vega, Dave Mason, Dave Van Ronk, The Mamas and the Papas, Dr. John, and many others. He recently released his fifth full length CD, The Road Ahead, featuring eleven new songs that celebrate a range of Americana musical genres, and stories.
Ray will be performing with Lanny Sichel on acoustic lead guitar and vocals. Together they will play original tales of love lost, love won, and the choices faced by a variety of heroes and heroines.
“I like Take Me to The Movies because Ray Lambiase didn’t fill his album with stuff; he filled it with music.” Richard Brancaccio, The Music Paper
“Sometimes, someone comes along that makes me remember why I so enjoy listening to music and doing this show.” Trish Lewis, The Eclectic Chair
