“Good for what ails you”
Join us for an evening of jazz. Long Island jazz wizard Steve Salerno commands the guitar; he and bassist extraordinaire August Sheehy join the Dr – that’s Dan Weymouth, for those of you keeping score at home – on piano (and some vocals). We’ll be romping through tunes from Dr Dan’s Jazz Songbook, as well as some standards. In turns soulful and athletic, with styles ranging from Afro-Cuban and New Orleans to Chicago and bebop. An evening guaranteed to put a song in your heart, a tap in your toe, and a smile on your face.
Dr Dan’s Medicine Show. Good for what ails you.
The show begins with an Open Mic at our new starting time of 7:30! (signup at 7:00); the main act goes on at about 8:15. Click below for tickets or you can just show up at the door. Tickets are now $20/ea. We hope to see you there!
We’ll have coffee and snacks for sale. Remember, bring your own wine. There is a small corking fee.
