“A warm, organic sound bearing deep country roots, but still informed by rock ‘n’ roll.” NPR …

Singer songwriter Pete Mancini got his start as the front man and songwriter of Butchers Blind, a critically acclaimed rock band from NYC. In 2017 he released his debut solo album Foothill Freeway, which explored the Americana influences that were a hallmark of his former band. He has since released two additional albums, Flying First Class in 2019, and Killing The Old Ways in 2020.

“Mancini’s earnest voice and songs of world-weary struggles put him in line as a worthy successor to John Prine and John Hiatt as a premier singer/songwriter whose work is destined to be covered by dozens of artists.” Good Times Magazine

Over the years, Mancini has opened for acts such as Jimmy Webb, Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Pure Prairie League, Robbie Fulks, Amy Helm, Larry Campbell & Theresa Williams, Kevin Gordon, and Iain Matthews.

“A singer songwriter who is at the very peak of his powers and who should really be spoken of in the same way as Farrar, Tweedy, Adams were in their early days of worldwide acclaim…” American Roots UK
