Our new season comes out strong with an amazing performer!

Grounds & Sounds Café is pleased to open our new season with the ultra-talented Robinson Treacher. Robinson’s unique brand of music covers the genres of blues, folk, Americana, and country. He has shared the stage with notable artists from Vince Gill, Arlo Guthrie, and Tedeschi Trucks Band. Robinson has been featured on Sirius/XM’s series, “The Loft: Live from The Living Room,” and has been a frequent guest of legendary DJ John Platt on New York’s famed WFUV Radio. Hall of Fame songwriter Don Schlitz has even touted Robinson as being, “ … impossible to follow in concert.”

A native New Yorker, Robinson was raised in formidable music scenes from downstate New York City to the upstate Adirondacks. The honesty and grit of his eclectic influences combined with his love of all genres makes his sound uniquely distinguishable on the singer/songwriter circuit. Robinson is an award-winning writer whose emotionally dramatic songwriting style, passionate vocals, and homage to multiple genres have earned him accolades such as the 2018 Independent Music Award for Best EP in the categories of Country, Blues, Roots, and Singer/Songwriter, multiple Mid-Atlantic Song Contest awards, and even nominations for a Nashville Music City Award and NSAI/CMT Country Music People’s Choice Award.

Come join us for that one-of-a-kind Robinson Treacher vibe that fans have come to know and love, and one for which new listeners will most assuredly return.
